Celebrate Black History Month with Pelmorex: Kerry-Ann Lecky Hepburn
To celebrate Black History Month, The Weather Network is profiling an employee who helps bring weather information and products to you, our users across all platforms.
Meteorologist and Astrophotographer Kerry-Ann Lecky Hepburn has been with The Weather Network for more than 20 years. Originally from the UK, she immigrated to Canada when she was 4 years old.
Lecky Hepburn has had a keen interest in astronomy ever since she learned about Halley’s comet when she was 11 years-old.
She is an avid astrophotographer, taking illuminating photos of the night sky with her very own backyard telescope. She has even had her work published in NASA’s Astronomy Picture of the Day and many other publications.
She got her pilot’s license when she was 16, and in her spare time she flies around southern Ontario and gives tours to her family and friends.
