B.C. music festival to be as good on the ears as the planet
Music festivals usually leave a big mess behind, but a new one happening in Squamish, B.C. this summer will prove that it doesn't always have to be that way.
Locals are bringing some amazing musicians to Squamish, British Columbia, this summer for the first ever Constellation Festival, but this won't be like your typical music festival.
The team behind the Constellation Festival are planning to become one of the first zero-waste music festivals in all of Canada. Throughout the last weekend of July, they will have reusable cups, compostable plates, and zero single-use plastic on site. As locals they want to make sure they are helping the Squamish economy but also leaving no trace behind.
