Paul Csintalan captured video of a mother bear rescuing her cub from drowning in Pitt Lake, British Columbia, on June 26.
In the caption of the video that was uploaded to YouTube, Csintalan stated the mother bear swam out into the lake with her two cubs, and one of the cubs ended up going underwater. The bear swam in circles before the cub popped its head out of the water. The mother was then able to swim in its direction and the cub climbed on her back and all three bears swam back to shore.
Csintalan can be heard pointing out during the video that the bear that required help was far smaller than the other cub.
