Warmer weather has arrived across parts of British Columbia, but before you head outdoors, it's important to keep your eyes open for potentially harmful ticks.
While there are several different kinds of ticks across the province, there are only two that carry Lyme disease, which means only about 1 in every 200 ticks carry the disease. While that number doesn't sound too alarming, health officials are reminding residents to play it safe when heading outdoors. Details on how to protect yourself this summer, in the video above.
