"Avozilla": Giant avocado hits store shelves

This isn't the first time the massive avocados have been available, but they're still catching customers off-guard.

It's about five times the size of a regular avocado, weighs in at 3 lbs., and costs about $16 (AUD).

You'll only need one of them to produce an entire bowl of guacamole.

The giant is grown by a farmer in Central Queensland, and while it's not the first time it's been available to the public, it's still catching shoppers off-guard.

"It's got a creamy flavor with a nutty taste at the end," an unnamed store employee told CNN.

"Wonderful that we have them for a short season, only for about, I would say probably about a month."

The farmer behind "Avozilla" isn't saying how he achieves such a monstrous size, but he insists it isn't through genetic modification.
