Double-rainbow dazzles skies across southern Ontario
Social media erupts as a double-rainbow gleams in southern Ontario skies at Thursday sunset.
The threat for scattered showers lined much of the afternoon across southern Ontario on Thursday, with rumbles of thunder and heavy downpours reported at times during the evening hours.
Despite the on again, off again rain that hit parts of the region, so many areas were treated to a spectacular double-rainbow that later lit up the night sky.

Social media erupted with images of the night sky, one that featured the dazzling bright double-rainbow, and the cotton candy clouds that finished off the evening.
There's a much lower risk for rain showers throughout the day on Friday, with mostly sunny and pleasant conditions kicking off this second weekend of June.
