Ontario due for some good summer weather, and this weekend will deliver
Don't let this week's autumn chill fool you, summer still has a lot left to give as we take a turn towards the end of August
We are in the dog days of summer, but most of this week has felt more like fall. However, summer is not over just yet.
In fact, this weekend, and much of next week, will feature some of the best weather of the season with abundant sunshine, very warm temperatures and comfortable humidity.
While we do have a risk for a passing shower or thunderstorm, most of the weekend will be dry, which will be quite a contrast to last weekend -- and most weekends this summer.

Spectacular late summer weather kicks off this weekend
We will kick-off the weekend with spectacular late summer weather across southern Ontario during Friday afternoon with abundant sunshine and near seasonal temperatures.
Friday night will be partly cloudy and seasonal with comfortable humidity.
Sunshine will mix with some clouds during Saturday, with high temperatures in the mid to upper 20s. An isolated shower or thunderstorm is possible, but most places will remain dry.
Saturday night will be partly cloudy with mild temperatures.
Sunday will be mostly sunny and very warm with high temperatures in the upper 20s, but southwestern Ontario will approach 30°C.

Isolated showers and thunderstorms will develop during the afternoon, but once again most places will stay dry.
August ends on a (mostly) warm note
The first half of next week, which is the final week of August, will be mostly sunny and very warm with a low risk for passing showers and thunderstorms.
High temperatures will be in the mid to upper 20s for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and a few places could reach 30 degrees.
The very warm weather could continue beyond Wednesday, but we are watching the potential for a period of cooler weather, with near seasonal temperatures, as we head into the Labour Day weekend. Showers and thunderstorms will likely accompany the transition to cooler weather.
