Alberta wildfires, in photos
May's wildfire activity has been particularly severe in Alberta.
Tens of thousands of people have been forced to evacuate following days of active wildfires in central and northern Alberta, with many of those blazes burning out of control. Photos have been pouring into The Weather Network website detailing the situation.
Some of the wildfire smoke has already made its way into Ontario, and is expected to continue pushing farther into Eastern Canada this week.
