There have been around half a dozen reported injuries due to the severe weather outbreak, all due to fallen trees, and radar has picked up tornadic activity in parts of Texas and Louisiana.
The early-season, multi-state storm is related to a larger system tracking across the U.S., elevating the risk of downpours, strong winds, and tornadoes.
