Spectacular fall weather sandwiched in between weekend showers in Ontario
Yet another weekend where beautiful weather awaits in southern Ontario, but with rainy interruptions to pay attention to, as well
This weekend will feature some gorgeous fall weather across southern Ontario!
However, like so many weekends this year, the upcoming weekend will also include some rain. Passing showers are likely at the beginning and at the end, but sandwiched in between the showers will be a period of spectacular weather which will be ideal for a wide range of outdoor activities.

Friday will start off with some sunshine, but we will see increasing clouds during the day. Scattered showers will track from west to east across our region during the afternoon and into the evening, but rain totals will not be substantial and some places will get missed and remain dry.
Showers will end during Friday evening, then the sky will become clear for most of Friday night.
When people talk about how much they love fall weather, I think they have days like Saturday in mind. Saturday will be a spectacular day with full sunshine, a deep blue sky, low humidity and comfortable temperatures.
Saturday night will be mostly clear and cool.
Sunday will start off with some sunshine, but clouds will quickly roll in from west to east, followed by a period of showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Despite the increasing clouds, temperatures will be a couple degrees warmer than seasonal.
Next week will bring a few days of cooler weather with near seasonal temperatures.

If the sky is clear Monday night, we will even see widespread frost and possibly a freeze for some rural areas, especially across cottage country.
The middle of next week will feature classic fall weather with a mix of sunshine and cloudy periods and near seasonal temperatures. Passing showers are possible, but most of next week will be dry.
What can we expect for Thanksgiving weekend? At this point it looks like temperatures will be changeable, but close to seasonal for mid-October. But, please be sure to check back next week for a detailed look at what you can expect during the long weekend.
